Medium-light ruby colour with a purple tinge, the bouquet spicy and fragrant with loads of fruit-driven charm. The wine has good intensity and is direct and focused in the mid-palate, with gentle but agreeably structured tannins adding the requisite firmness to cleanse the finish. The wine has great floral notes of strawberry fruit and fennel. The palate is medium bodied and fleshy, with more of the strawberry fruits and creamy texture, and finishes with fine fruit tannins. A great wine for immediate drinking, with a wide range of foods including tomato based pasta dishes, vegetarian fare and charcuterie.
