It's hard to stop yourself drinking this; in equal parts, it's moreish and mesmerising. It's a sour, smoky, sinewy wine with reductive lift yet plenty of juice and flow. It's all strawberry, spice and red cherry on the face of it, but the effect is more; it's low in overt oak; it's devilled with detail; its truths feel ingrained.
