Caves d’Esclans Rock Angel Rosé is a refined, more structured sibling to the world-famous Whispering Angel, crafted in the heart of Provence by renowned winemaker Sacha Lichine. Sourced from premium vineyards in the Côtes de Provence appellation, this wine uses predominantly Grenache with a touch of Rolle (Vermentino), grown on chalky, clay-limestone soils that help retain freshness while building aromatic complexity. The Mediterranean climate, with its warm days and cool nights, ensures optimal ripening and balance.

Winemaking is meticulous, with partial fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel to capture pure fruit aromatics, alongside a portion matured in large oak barrels to add depth, texture, and savoury nuance. This subtle use of oak is what sets Rock Angel apart from the lighter, purely stainless steel styles, giving it a more gastronomic character and an ability to age for a few years.

The nose bursts with wild strawberries, peach, and citrus blossom, underpinned by a gentle mineral note and hints of spice from the oak.
