Bright ruby red in colour, the bouquet opens with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry layered with hints of rose petal, spice and subtle earthiness. As the wine evolves in the glass, notes of plum, dried herbs and gentle oak nuances emerge. The palate is medium bodied and beautifully balanced, delivering juicy red berry fruits, soft tannins and refreshing acidity. A savoury thread runs through the wine, adding depth and interest, while the finish remains elegant, silky and persistent.
