Fruit salad, white pepper and soft herbs on the nose. Quite weighty on the palate, with hints of grapefruit pip, ripe pear and a hint of cherry fruit.

Mirabeau Pure Rosé is a quintessential expression of Provence, capturing the sun-soaked elegance and effortless charm that have made the region’s pale pink wines world famous. Founded by Stephen and Jeany Cronk in 2010, Mirabeau has quickly risen to prominence as one of Provence’s leading modern estates. The Pure cuvée sits at the heart of their range, crafted to reflect the beauty of the Côtes de Provence terroir in a bright, precise, and mineral-driven style.

The fruit is sourced from vineyards on limestone and schist soils, located in the cooler elevated zones of the region. These sites benefit from warm Mediterranean days balanced by cool nights, which preserve delicate aromatics and crisp acidity. The blend is built around Grenache and Syrah with supporting roles from Cinsault and Vermentino, harvested in the cool of the morning and gently pressed to retain freshness and achieve that signature pale ballet-slipper hue. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel highlights purity and finesse, with no oak influence.

In the glass, Mirabeau Pure Rosé shows a delicate, shimmering pink colour. Aromas of wild strawberries, white peach, citrus zest, and spring flowers rise elegantly from the glass. The palate is bone dry, crisp, and finely textured, with layers of red berries, nectarine, and a subtle mineral backbone leading to a long, refreshing finish. It’s refined and vibrant, perfectly embodying the coastal Provençal lifestyle.

This rosé is a natural partner for seafood platters, grilled prawns with lemon and herbs, Niçoise salad, or goat’s cheese with beetroot. Its bright acidity and delicate texture also make it a superb aperitif for warm afternoons. Best enjoyed young and well chilled, it’s a wine that brings the Riviera to the table.
