Johan Reyneke is a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in South Africa, farming his historic Stellenbosch property with no synthetic chemicals and a strong focus on soil health, biodiversity, and minimal intervention winemaking. His approach allows the vineyard’s old bush vines, many planted on decomposed granite and sandstone soils, to shine with authentic character and freshness.

The fruit is hand harvested and whole bunch pressed before undergoing natural fermentation in a mix of stainless steel tanks and seasoned French oak barrels. This slow, wild ferment builds texture and complexity while maintaining the crisp acidity and pure fruit expression that great Chenin Blanc demands. The wine is aged on fine lees for added depth without losing its vibrant lift.
