Aromas of wild dark berries, Asian spices, pomegranates, wet earth, graphite and salted meat. The palate is tightly wound, with fine yet firm tannins and a straight line of acidity supported by generous fruit and a wonderfully integrated mouthfeel that ties together fruity, earthy and savory notes. This will have whole-bunch lovers (there's 100% here) in a chokehold. Deliciously fresh, youthful and vibrant; it's a free fall of raspberry, alpine strawberries and red plum. It has a cordial-like appeal, infused with twiggy herbs, rosemary, thyme and spices. A little fennel and persimmon, too. Sour-sweet fruit on the palate, mulberry, blackberry, with Campari edges. Wild with ferrous tannins; this is big on intricacy and interest. Drink to 2032.
