Whispering Angel Rosé from Caves d'Esclans is the global poster child for high-end Provence rosé, a true cult favourite that’s managed to cross the boundary from luxury wine to lifestyle icon. Made under the guidance of Sacha Lichine, the man who revolutionised rosé’s reputation, Whispering Angel is crafted from Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino grown in the sun-drenched vineyards around La Motte in Côtes de Provence.

Despite its fame, the wine is built on precision and vineyard pedigree. Pale as a peach blossom and feather-light in the glass, it delivers notes of fresh strawberries, white peach, citrus zest and a cool mineral snap that keeps it clean and vibrant. There’s a silky texture and just the right amount of weight on the palate, making it dangerously easy to drink.

Part of its appeal lies in its polish. Stainless steel fermentation, temperature control, and meticulous blending have made Whispering Angel a benchmark for elegance and consistency. Whether you’re poolside in Sydney or yacht-hopping in St Tropez, this wine brings a taste of Provençal summer in every sip.

Pair it with tuna tartare, grilled octopus, Vietnamese rice paper rolls or just a handful of marinated olives in the sun.
