100% whole bunch. Flamboyant lively purple with a beautiful energy to the dark berry fruit on the nose. Darker fruit all round, yet filling the mouth, with some (once again) fine-grained tannins at the back. Drink from 2028-2030.

Plenty of colour. Extra clarity of dark-fruited aroma, only subtly floral, but with such an attractive and fresh style. The same is the case in the flavour – ebullient, melting, purity of flavour – the tannin present but not destabilising with plenty of concentration. Not a wine of silk but what great flavour/clarity. I love it!!
Bill Nanson, Burgundy Report
This cuvée is from a small 0.8-hectare parcel within the larger Le Clos de Magny climat in Corgoloin. Thiriet’s plot is at the top of the slope at 350 metres covering three soil types, including one with the vines almost directly on the bedrock, and another with more clay. Surrounded by the forest, part of the vineyard is often in the shade, which Camille believes works in her favour in warmer years. Another idiosyncrasy is the mass of large boulders that run through the soil just under the surface. It all adds up to a unique terroir that gifts tiny berries and little, loose bunches. These allow Camille to use 100% whole-bunches after cutting out the thick end of the main stem.
