Domaine de Triennes Rosé IGP Var is a beautifully crafted Provençal rosé that captures the essence of southern France in a glass. Made by a celebrated team that includes Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Triennes is all about elegance, freshness and drinkability, with a strong focus on organic farming and minimal intervention winemaking.
Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Var region of Provence, this rosé is predominantly Cinsault, blended with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot. The vines are rooted in limestone-rich soils and benefit from warm days and cool nights, preserving acidity and delicate aromatics. Harvested early in the season, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel to retain purity and finesse.
In the glass, expect pale salmon hues and aromas of wild strawberries, white peach, citrus zest and dried herbs. The palate is crisp and vibrant, with flavours of red berries, pink grapefruit and a whisper of saline minerality. It’s dry, refreshing and impeccably balanced, with a clean, lingering finish that makes it endlessly drinkable.
Ideal with fresh seafood, goat cheese salad, grilled vegetables or a classic Niçoise. Also perfect as an aperitif on a warm day, or paired with Mediterranean mezze. Best enjoyed young for its vibrant fruit and freshness.
