Chambolle Musigny is famous for Pinot Noir of extraordinary perfume and finesse, and Aux Beaux Bruns adds a lovely touch of depth to that elegance. Situated on the lower slopes of the village, its limestone and clay soils produce wines with fragrant fruit and beautifully balanced structure. Domaine Faiveley, founded in 1825, remains in family hands, with Erwan and Eve Faiveley leading the estate and Jérôme Flous overseeing winemaking.
Brilliant ruby red with delicate garnet reflections. Wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry mingle with violet, rose petals and gentle cinnamon spice. The cooler 2024 vintage emphasises freshness and aromatic detail, with silky tannins, lively acidity and a lingering savoury mineral finish. Delicate yet wonderfully expressive, with the grace that makes Chambolle Musigny so desirable.
Lovely with roast quail and cherries, duck and ginger dumplings, or a golden mushroom and leek tart. For something different, try seared tuna with sesame and shiitake mushrooms.
Cellaring: 2028 to 2040. A beautifully refined Premier Cru that should develop greater complexity and silky texture with careful ageing
