There is something irresistible about the delicate perfume of Chambolle Musigny, and Les Charmes is among its most charming Premier Crus. Its limestone rich soils produce Pinot Noir celebrated for floral elegance, silky texture and beautifully refined fruit. Founded in 1825, Domaine Faiveley remains family owned, with Erwan and Eve Faiveley guiding the estate and Jérôme Flous overseeing winemaking.
Luminous ruby red with delicate crimson reflections. Wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry mingle with violet, rose petals and a hint of sweet spice. The cooler 2024 vintage highlights freshness and aromatic finesse, with beautifully polished tannins, lively acidity and a graceful, lingering mineral finish. Delicate in character yet possessing the structure and depth expected of a fine Premier Cru.
A lovely match for roasted quail with cherries, duck and shiitake dumplings, or a delicate wild mushroom and chestnut tart. For a seafood option, try crispy skinned ocean trout with beetroot and a little horseradish.
Cellaring: 2028 to 2040. A refined Premier Cru that should develop greater savoury complexity and wonderfully silky texture with age.
