A neat balance between fruit flavour and texture thanks to some barrel fermentation. Guava, feijoa, passionfruit and pith, citrusy and a little smoky with pine needle freshness. Tangy, juicy acidity plays with the fluffy, creamy lees and this ends up a really good drink with a certain depth to it.

Deep Woods Estate Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River is a bright, expressive white that showcases the region’s cool maritime influence and ability to produce Sauvignon Blanc with both zingy freshness and subtle texture. Grown in the higher-altitude, southern parts of the region, where cool breezes from the Indian and Southern Oceans preserve acidity, this wine is crafted to deliver purity of fruit and crisp elegance.
Winemaker Julian Langworthy focuses on minimal intervention to retain varietal vibrancy. The grapes are harvested in the early morning, cold fermented in stainless steel, and often spend a short time on lees to build mid-palate weight without muting the lively aromatics. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc with lifted aromatics and a juicy, refreshing palate.
Expect aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry, kaffir lime and green melon, along with hints of lemongrass and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and energetic, bursting with citrus, tropical fruit and a clean mineral finish. It’s balanced, clean and perfect for summer sipping or seafood feasts.
Pair with oysters, grilled prawns, Thai fish cakes, or goat cheese salad. Also delicious with Vietnamese rice paper rolls or a simple asparagus tart. Best enjoyed young and vibrant, within two to three years of vintage.
