Christophe Patrice Chablis offers citrus, green apple and crisp minerality with classic Burgundian purity, freshness and finesse.
Christophe Patrice is part of a new generation of Chablis growers focused on producing wines of purity, freshness and authentic regional character. Based in the heart of northern Burgundy, the domaine works with carefully tended vineyards rooted in the limestone rich soils that have made Chablis famous worldwide. The winemaking philosophy is simple and respectful, allowing the vineyard and vintage to take centre stage while preserving the crisp, mineral style that defines the region.
The 2025 Chablis is sourced from vineyards planted on classic Kimmeridgian soils, a mix of limestone, clay and ancient marine fossils that contribute the distinctive mineral character found in the finest examples of Chablis. A cool climate and long growing season encourage slow ripening, helping to retain the vibrant acidity and precision that make the wines so appealing. The result is a beautifully balanced Chablis that combines freshness with impressive depth.
Pale straw with brilliant green highlights, the bouquet opens with aromas of lemon zest, green apple and white peach, accompanied by notes of oyster shell, chalk and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and energetic, revealing flavours of citrus, pear and grapefruit wrapped around a fine mineral backbone. Bright acidity provides drive and focus, while the finish is long, dry and refreshingly precise, lingering with notes of lemon and wet stone.
A classic partner for freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns, seafood linguine, sashimi, fish and chips or a goat's cheese tart. Equally enjoyable as an aperitif, it captures everything that has made Chablis one of the world's great white wine styles.
