The Perrin family has been making wine in the Southern Rhône for five generations, with Château de Beaucastel at the heart of their remarkable story. Their Réserve collection takes the same thoughtful approach to winemaking and applies it to wines designed for everyday pleasure. This Côtes du Rhône Rosé is a particularly appealing example, full of Mediterranean charm and freshness.
Made from traditional Rhône varieties, including Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, the 2025 captures the sunshine and gentle warmth of southern France. Careful handling in the winery preserves the delicate aromatics and lively acidity, producing a dry rosé with plenty of character.
Pale salmon pink with delicate coral highlights. Wild strawberry, white peach and raspberry mingle with pink grapefruit, citrus blossom and a hint of fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and juicy, with bright red berries, subtle stone fruit and a refreshing citrus lift. A gentle savoury note adds interest to the clean, dry finish.
Try it with grilled prawns and romesco sauce, a watermelon and feta salad with mint, or crispy zucchini fritters with lemon yoghurt. It is also lovely alongside tuna niçoise or a plate of fresh tomatoes, burrata and basil.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2028. Best enjoyed for its youthful fruit and vibrant freshness.
