From the dry, windswept vineyards of Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, the Future Perfect House Wine Pinot Noir captures the bright fruit and effortless drinkability that have made the region so exciting in recent years. The Future Perfect Wine Co is a small Tasmanian focused project built around sourcing fruit from quality sites across the island, with an emphasis on wines that are expressive, approachable and true to place. The Coal River Valley, sitting just outside Hobart, benefits from low rainfall, abundant sunshine and cool nights, allowing Pinot Noir to ripen evenly while retaining freshness and fine structure.

The wine shows a vibrant ruby colour with excellent clarity. Aromas lift with red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry layered with hints of dried herbs, subtle spice and a gentle earthy note. With time in the glass delicate nuances of rose petal and forest floor begin to emerge. The palate is lively and beautifully balanced, offering flavours of cranberry, red berries and savoury spice carried by silky tannins and bright natural acidity. There is a pleasing sense of purity and energy that reflects the cool climate origins of the fruit, finishing clean and persistent with lingering red fruit and a soft savoury edge.
