This terrific value Riesling is sourced from a number of sub-regions across the Great Southern region in Western Australia, including Mount Barker, Denmark, Porongurup and Frankland River. Lemon/straw in colour, this is beautifully perfumed with notes of florals, pears, citrus and spices. It does make one wonder why Riesling at this price level can attain levels of quality of which few other wines can dream. Put simply, good value Riesling seems to run rings around its competition. Towards the finish, notes of lime and citrus and a touch of lemon blossom take a dominating role. There is a line of fine acidity and good length here. Enjoy this over the next six to eight years. It really is excellent value. Drink 2026 to 2034.

Boasts plenty of drink now appeal with its aromatic citrus qualities and bright acidity. The citrus family gathers – lime, lemon – with green apple, an apple blossom floral liveliness and hints of musk. It’s a delicate wine in fine acidity that melts in the mouth and a lovely lime intensity that smacks the lips. The Riesling scale featured on the back label is just short of off dry, but it remains essentially dry. Drink 2026 to 2030.

90 points Jeni Port for Wine Pilot, March 2026

Light, bright yellow. Chalky and fermented grass/silage aromas. Sweetness is felt immediately on the forepalate while the middle delivers good weight of fruit flavour and balance. The sweetness would be less noticeable when chilled and is appropriate to its price. Good value. Drink 2026 to 2033.

90 points Huon Hooke for The Real Review, February 2026

Winemaker James Kellie’s years as a contract winemaker for growers across the Great Southern region gave him unique insights into its diversity and potential. His love for the region led him to purchase a former client, Harewood Estate, in 2003 with his wife Careena. This commitment came with building a winery from scratch and a clear ambition: to make wines that reflect the full breadth of the Great Southern rather than a single corner of it.

This Riesling draws from four subregions across the Great Southern — Mount Barker, Denmark, Porongurup and Frankland River — each contributing something distinct to a blend that changes proportion with every vintage.

Florals, citrus and pear on the nose with a lovely lime intensity and a touch of apple blossom. Bright acidity carries through a fruit-forward palate that finishes clean and refreshing.

Serve well chilled and enjoy over the next few years while the fruit is at its most vivid. At home with a Vietnamese chicken salad, grilled prawns with a citrus dressing, or a green Thai curry.

Drinks well to 2030.
