Made from fruit sourced from the Moorabool Valley, Surf Coast and Portarlington. 10% whole bunches and 15% new oak. A really bright crimson ruby. With its aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and some whole-bunch–derived pepper and spice, there's a lot going on in this well-put-together and attractively priced wine. The palate is medium bodied, energetic and supple. And while it's already a treat to drink now, there's upside in that it will be even better one to two years from now.

Mulline Pinot Noir is a thoughtful and finely detailed expression of Geelong, shaped by cool coastal influence, low yielding vineyards and a clear focus on elegance over weight. Geelong’s proximity to Port Phillip Bay brings steady breezes and long growing seasons, allowing Pinot Noir to ripen slowly while retaining freshness, perfume and natural acidity.

Mulline is a modern, small scale producer built on a hands on approach to both vineyard sourcing and winemaking. The focus is on minimal intervention and transparency, letting site and season do the talking. Fruit is sourced from carefully selected Geelong vineyards, often planted on volcanic and clay based soils that give Pinot Noir structure and a subtle savoury edge.

In the glass, the wine is bright and expressive. Red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry lead, followed by rose petal, gentle spice and a hint of forest floor. There is a fine mineral thread through the palate, keeping the wine focused and energetic. Tannins are fine and well integrated, and the finish is long, clean and poised.

This is a Pinot Noir that excels at the table. Roast chicken, duck, pork, mushroom dishes or lighter game all suit its balance and savoury lift. It is approachable on release for its purity and charm, yet has enough structure to develop further complexity over the short to medium term.
