Yves Cuilleron Les Vignes d'à Côté showcases perfumed Viognier with Northern Rhône charm, silky texture and exceptional value.
Yves Cuilleron has been one of the Northern Rhône's most respected winemakers since taking over his family's estate in 1987. Celebrated for his Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie wines, he brings the same thoughtful approach to his more accessible regional bottlings. Les Vignes d'à Côté, meaning the vineyards next door, is a charming introduction to his beautifully expressive Viognier.
Sourced from vineyards close to the celebrated Condrieu appellation, the 2025 captures Viognier's generous aromatics and silky texture without becoming overly rich. The Northern Rhône's granite influenced landscape and cooling breezes help preserve freshness alongside the variety's naturally ripe stone fruit character.
Pale golden straw with bright reflections. Ripe apricot, white peach and nectarine mingle with honeysuckle, orange blossom and a hint of fresh ginger. The palate is supple and fragrant, with juicy stone fruit, delicate citrus and a lovely rounded texture. Gentle spice and a touch of almond carry through a fresh, softly floral finish.
Try it with Vietnamese lemongrass prawns, grilled peach and burrata salad, or roasted pumpkin with whipped feta and toasted cumin. Its fragrant personality also works beautifully with mild Thai coconut curries.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2029. Best appreciated while its floral perfume and fresh stone fruit are at their most expressive.
