Layered and textural Sauvignon-lead blend with gooseberry, lychee and spicy citrus flavours
Domaine Naturaliste’s Discovery tier of wines offers balanced, fruit-forward style wines that are ready to be enjoyed on release. It is no wonder that they offer style and value beyond the price, as they are given the same kind of love and attention to detail as their flagship wines receive in the winery,
This wine hails from the beautiful 2026 season, with Margaret River enjoying near-perfect growing conditions for all grape varieties. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the cool southern part of Margaret River, where the Indian Ocean breezes and gravelly loam soils help Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon ripen slowly, preserving bright aromatics and natural acidity. A 90/10 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, the wine was fermented in oak: 85% in seasoned, neutral French puncheons, the balance in new French barriques. The fermented wine rested for two months on lees, with fortnightly lees stirring, before it was racked and blended in preparation for bottling.
The perfect warm weather all-rounder, well-made Margaret River white blends like this are great to have around for parties and diverse spreads of seafood and vegetables -or just enjoy a glass as an aperitif.
Enjoy within three years of the vintage while at its youthful best.
