Piccini Prosecco Extra Dry Venetian Dress, Veneto

A lively, fruit-forward sparkling wine from northeastern Italy that brings together the easy charm of Prosecco with stylish packaging and broad appeal. Produced in the Veneto region from 100 percent Glera grapes, this Extra Dry cuvée offers a slightly off-dry style, making it soft and approachable with vibrant bubbles and fresh aromatics.

The name Venetian Dress refers to the label’s nod to the elegance and pageantry of Venice’s iconic Carnevale — and the wine inside is just as festive. Fermented using the Charmat method, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic freshness and deliver a bright, clean style.

On the nose, it shows white peach, pear, green apple and acacia blossom. The palate is smooth and refreshing, with ripe citrus, melon and a hint of sweetness balanced by gentle acidity. The mousse is creamy and persistent, making it perfect for casual sipping or festive occasions.

Food pairing: ideal with fresh fruit, seafood canapés, mild cheeses, sushi or light salads. Also great as an aperitif or in a spritz.

Cellar potential: best enjoyed young and vibrant, within 1 to 2 years of bottling.
