The colour is quite deep: a full salmon-pink hue and the nose has very pinoty aromas of poached fruit, quince paste and raspberry shortcake. A concentrated wine. The palate is rich and full with fluffy mousse contributing appealing texture and the finish is clean, dry and balanced for drinkability. 31 Aug 2025

Taittinger Prestige Rosé is a vibrant and elegant Champagne that strikes a perfect balance between delicacy and generosity. Crafted by one of Champagne’s oldest family-owned houses, this cuvée captures the Taittinger style — refined, floral, and Chardonnay-driven — while showcasing the allure of carefully handled Pinot Noir to bring color, depth and a cascade of red fruit charm.
This rosé is made using the méthode traditionnelle, a blend of 45% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay and the rest pinot meunier with 14% red wine. Based on 2020.
After secondary fermentation in bottle, the wine spends three years on lees before disgorgement, gaining creamy texture and subtle complexity. The dosage is modest, allowing the purity of fruit and acidity to shine through.
In the glass, Taittinger Prestige Rosé glows with a delicate salmon-pink hue and persistent fine bubbles. Aromas leap out in the form of wild strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant and hints of rose petal and orange peel. The palate is fresh and silky with flavours of crushed red berries, brioche and a touch of citrus, supported by a fine acid line and a dry, refreshing finish.
This is a rosé Champagne that’s as at home at a celebration as it is at the dinner table. Pair it with tuna tartare, duck with cherry glaze, or a summer berry pavlova. It also makes a sensational aperitif with charcuterie or soft cheeses.
